Carrie graduated in 1999 from Down East School of Massage in Waldoboro, ME. She is CT licensed, Board Certified and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She decided to go to massage school after suffering from Guillian-Barré Syndrome which left her paralyzed from the neck down for 3 months. During her recovery, she received physical therapy and therapeutic massage and knew that she wanted to help others in the same way. As a business major and licensed massage therapist, Carrie opened Caring Hands in 2003. Today she has performed well over 15,000 hours of hands on experience and takes great pride in making people feel better. Joan is a Connecticut Licensed Massage Therapist, Board Certified and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She is a graduate of Manchester Community College and Eastern Connecticut State University. Since graduating from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 1995, Joan has continued her education by receiving certification from the Dr. Vodder School of Lymphatic Therapy in 1998. She also trained with the late John Harvey Gray, Reiki Master and has completed the Advanced Reiki Practitioner program. Kelly is a CT licensed massage therapist, a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and Board Certified. She graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2002 and has over 10,000 hours of hands on experience. She specializes in Swedish, sports, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, acupressure, energy work, and aromatherapy. She is also certified in Mother Massage® (pre-natal/post natal).
